goodbye salt lake...

So I recently moved back to San Diego and had to leave the lovely Salt Lake City behind for the time being....my last weekend there was so lovely though. Saturday night some friends came over to say bye and I'm so grateful for everyone that was able to make it. Sunday we went to breakfast at Park Cafe and it was nothing but amazing. It was a lovely day so we took a stroll through the park and made our way home so I could start packing the car up. After packing Mo ordered the most enormous pizza ever and we ate and ate and watched some television. Later that night I met some interesting people at the W and learned of the garbage warrior. Monday morning as I was trying to get the last of everything Peg made us some breakfast and then I made my way over to Dewon's to say bye. Dewon made me the most amazing lunch, we said our goodbyes and I was off to Moab.

The drive to Moab was the worst-first of all I lost 20 bones who knows where before I even left SLC-second of all I got pulled over for speeding-the speed went from 60 to 40 and the cop was sitting right by the 40 sign and got me before I had a chance to slow down-oh but it gets better. As I'm searching for my license to give the cop I realize that my purse that it's in along with my money and credit card is no where to be found in my car-oh wait, I left it at the gas station. Luckily the cop was cool and didn't make a fuss of it and felt bad that I had to back track so he kindly gave me my ticket and let me go on my way. Drove about a half hour back to find the cute old lady keeping my purse safe and sound in the register.

Finally made it to Moab and my beautiful Kylie James. We drove around the canyon and visited Dave the first day. Seeing Dave was so fun-he's one of the funniest souls I've had the pleasure of knowing. My second day with Kylie was spent driving to Grand Junction and walking in and out of stores-then we did eachother's hair that night. Kylie now has blonde hair and my ends are reddish orange. My hair actually reminds me of the Red Knee tarantula.

see what I mean???

Anyways my time in Moab was up and I headed home with absolutely no problems. The drive from Moab to St George was absolutely incredible. When I was getting gas in Barstow I had a van full of marines staring at me for like 5 minutes and then finally the old man in the front tried to hit on me- I just smiled and laughed and then quickly got back into my car. Being home has been great but I miss Salt Lake and my life there...but I'm going back in a couple weeks to get my bed so that will be a nice little visit. Well I'm off to watch more chevy chase clips on youtube...

This is Eagle Canyon-one of the beautiful places I stopped as I was driving through the canyon's after Moab..
